Re: Newberys 1800's Hampton Court england

Please note regarding Frederick Thomas Newbery ..arrived in san francisco
1869...is listed in numerous city directories and on census records last one 1910 than on 1920 census his wife Jane is a widow no descendants for this couple.
So they never left San Francisco from my search. He was a civil engineer, mechanical engineer according to his business card in our possession.

Re: Newberys 1800's Hampton Court england

Regarding John & Sarah Newbery does anyone know their ancestry?
Is Sarah's maiden name Newington or Giles? Was she from Newington?
How many children did they have and birth order? Thank you.

Re: Newberys 1800's Hampton Court england

I don't know Sarah's pob. Not born Middlesex

The name GILES is fairly common in London. I'd look for a GILES & NEWINGTON marriage. I can't see one. Age at death points to abt 1757. There is this to consider:

County Surrey
Place Chertsey
Church St. Peter
RegisterNumber
DateOfBirth
BaptismDate 12 Jun 1757
Forename Sarah
Sex F
FatherForename William
MotherForename Sarah
FatherSurname GILES
MotherSurname
Abode
FatherOccupation
Notes
FileNumber 30790
