We had actually found James P previously but I had not filled in that part of my tree with those who ended up in NZ. Only when I recently found others had also ended up in NZ did I start to enter the details of those children.


I'm still wondering if there is a Robert born 1794 who married Elizabeth about 1820 and who ended up in NZ.

There is no record of his birth or marriage in records in Scotland, so where did the information come from? His death certificate in NZ?
