The eldest disappeared camping with is mates for a couple of days :rolleyes: When i thought there was going to be a photo the youngest was asleep and so on and so on. I got heaps of photos just none...

Is there anything that makes you think that?

It is very possible for her to have a child at 49 and been a widow she obviously had a relationship with someone and had a child.

You would have to obtain your grandmother's birth cert. to see who her birth mother was.

Geoff i have found the QLD archives quiet good to work with, tho i havent had a need to contact of recent times.
Maybe send them a email and ask nicely what info is on the hospital records....

Hi Geoff, i'm just doing some catching up. I think they hold the records for the years from for example 1872 to 1887 then a gap 1899 to 1913.
I dont know why the gap from 1877 to 1899 etc.
