who can tell me what the London Eye is? i was looking at googleearth and it was one of the sights to see.

Heres Wikipaedia's report on the London Eye. I've been on it, it was New Years Eve 2001 and we where right at the top at the stroke of midnight.

I have also een onthe London Eye. It ws a great experience. I would love to do it again. I went on there in September 2001.

Hi Marie, it's a massive ferrice wheel with enclosed "glass bubbles" instead of seats. It turns very slowly to allow passengers to view the sights of London.
I have never been on it and never will, i get vertigo. Not sure how much it costs to go on it, but it's meant to be fantastic if you like big fairground rides.

Hi Guys and Girls, thanks for partisipating. this was fun. i saw it from googleearth and it really looked weird. thank you p.risboy, i just couldnt believe it was a ferris wheel. :)
