Saunders

Hi,

I am not too sure of what I am asking for here so please bear with me, I know very little about my family and as such the idea of genealogy has started to appeal to me.

Now, the name I was to find out about is Saunders, I know that my father was born in Birmingham on 03/06/1980, his name is Victor James Saunders, he had a brother and 2 sisters, His father was Christopher James Saunders and I know that he was from Birmingham but that is where the lead stops. Chris was in the Navy and married a Scottish girl in Troon Ayrshire where he meet her whilst stationed in the Navy.

Is there anything that I can get from this?

I do have a death certifiate from my fathers uncle attached to my site which shows that a Victor Saunders was born and died within 1 day in Birmingham, the fathers name is on here so maybe that can lead me along the right way.

Christophers marriage certificate will give his age and also his fathers name and occupation.

You can search online on Scotlandspeople for birth, deaths and marriage plus opr (old parish records) and the census. Registration is required and to view images you will need to buy credit.
