The family has not been found in 1841 census in Scotland. There should be a son named John. :)

Interesting in that looking at 1851 you might wonder why John is not there but Ann is also not there and nor is John, spouse of Isabella.

I don't know where I am with this one now.

Ann's death certificate has no mention of the name BELL.

I still had better try to rule John in or out of my tree.

I'd like a look up please for John in 1861 and 1881.

Seems we have two different Blackley families from Ireland in 1851 in different parts of Scotland both with Isabella as head of the family. :rolleyes:
