Hello,

Ann ARROL b. abt 1846 New Monkland, Lanark

Edward COONEY & Anne ARROL
Marriage: 9 Aug 1867 High Church, Paisley, Renfrew

Death 1919 Annie COLQUHOUN (ARROL) Paisley, Renfrew Age 73

I can't find that 2nd marriage but that will be the 5th time at least in my tree where a death indicates a 2nd marriage but that 2nd marriage can't be found.

I'd like a trace for Ann/Anne/Annie through the census from 1871 please.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Barbara,

Thanks for looking.

The 1867 marriage is an extracted record so I don't know if that is an error and that it should be Colquhoun.

I may have asked for a search for Anne before but I didn't have her death and name at death until earlier today.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Barbara,

Some info on Edward as they say COONEY b. abt 1847 son of Edward a mason's labourer and Sally O'DONNELL.

I can't see Edward & Sally under either name in 1841 or 1851.

It's possible they were in Ireland in 1841.

Regards,

Dave

Hello Barbara,

Thank you very much.

That has to be the one - a rope maker (app)

So how do we explain the extracted record that has COONEY?

Extracted by someone in India?

It's COONEY on SP :) The minister was hard of hearing. :2fun:

Thanks Barbara.

One more ARROL out of the way.

I'm going through a tree and finding some errors as I go. Also finding some marriages I didn't have not that I believe all the tree now. Will have to go through them all and check.
