Yes, that where I got the 14 Apr from. ;)

As far as I can tell they didn't go to Australia. Just Thomas and Alfred.

Alfred is the only one we have in 1841 and in shipping record in 1849:

Thank you very much.

At the moment I'm not sure if it's the right family or not. I have only the information in post #1 and the fact that there is no sign of the family making it to Australia.

First thought is that the year of birth for Eliza is too far out but that's not enough to rule them out. How close is Charing to East Peckham? Smeeth and Ashford are close enough for Eliza's place of birth.
