Looking for family HUGHES :

Ellen Hannah born in Hulme (?) Manchester in 1851. Mother named Jane, father probably Samuel. She married later in 1869 with John Downes. They all lived in Manchester, Lancashire.

We do usually like the queries to be placed on the appropriate boards, but if you have a 1871 census query open there is no harm asking for earlier or later look ups in the same topic.

Hence the prompt for 1861. So it is my fault. :)

If you would like Steve to try and follow the children through the later census then ask in the 1871 topic that is open.
