Hello crankypants,
I wonder if Kenneth arrived in Victoria, but then I would have expected the marriage to have been in Victoria. I can't see any PEARSSON deaths in NSW.
We don't have a Shipping board yet.

So far I can't find a death or funeral notice for Charles or for parents James & Mary Ann. There are two other Mary Ann COOKs in NLA but not the right spouse. This is the same James born abt 1820 who arrived sometime before his marriage in 1864. :)

Hello crankypants,
I'm running out of children for possible links back. :D There are lots of COOKs born to James & Mary A including some at Newtown but only the three with RD St George. More work needed to see if there are other children. If Charles b. 1871 is the last then that could be a clue to a death.
I don't know if he was a constable. About all I can say from searching NLA is that there are three different Mary Anns married to a COOK and mine is not the family associated with the hotel on the Cooks River. I've also ruled out another Mary Ann HUNT.
I can't see the marriages in NLA so nothing about parents being still alive or address where they were living.

Passenger lists leaving UK 1890-1960

Ruled out one Kenneth Cook E/R, turns out he is Kenneth 'S' Cook (S = Sinclair) with is parents Alexander & Agnes B.
Ruled out one Kenneth Cook S/D, it's possible he is Kenneth 'S' Cook as the remaining Cook's are with 'S'.
Ruled out one Kenneth Cook P/L b. 1895 a baker departing Southampton in 1913 with a John Cook heading to New York.

Hello crankypants,
Thank you very much. Nothing seems to fit. Perhaps Kenneth didn't arrive until 1914 or 1915.
Right age, right trade, right place of birth, WRONG mother. :D It has to be him. Oh, well another mystery to return to in later years. eek)
I have one more COOK query.
Regards,
Dave

Hello crankypants,
Ok, thanks.
It's widespread. I have no access to my 2nd Hotmail account, not the one you send to but the one I use on tech and music forums.

Hello crankypants,
Sorry, I didn't make it clear.
William Ernest, senior is the record attendant.
William Ernest, junior is the moulder.
This is the the marriage of junior:
Reg# 17809/1936 COOK WILLIAM ERNEST BISHELL BESSIE KATHLEEN MAY GRANVILLE
That's that couple I was hoping you'd be able to find.
This is the death of junior but I can't find any trace of Bessie.

Think I confused myself. :D
Initially I was going to send 3 William Ernest's for 1943 in REID area. Should have stuck to my original plan. (no Moulder's).
