Hi guys need your help once again. Am trying to find the birth place of a father and son?. George where he was born. He died in the war i believe it was WW1?. Also his son Ernest Robert. Who i believe was born while his mother was married to George?, but remarried then took the surname of her second husband Chick. Ernest Robert married Emily Kate Furzer dont know when?.In the 1940s maybe?. Thanks once again. Kedi.

Have you any places of birth for George and Ernest. A bit more detail would make looking a bit easier.

I've had a quick look in CWGC, and there are 10 results for George Foot.

Emily Kate Furzer married Ernest R Chick A/J 1929 Bridport - 5a 938

Emily was born 1908 Chard, Somerset
Emily's family in 1911 were William 1882, Mary 1883, Violet Rose 1906 and Gladys May 1910

??
Ernest Robert Foot was born A/J 1904 Wandsworth
There is a George Foot married A/J 1880 Wandsworth 1d 686 to either
Eliza Brett, Kate Sparrow Cousins or Susan Dingley Edwards
There is also a George Foot married J/M 1896 Bridport 5a 573 to either
Mary Ann Cable or Louisa Northover

I'm having problems finding a marriage for George Foot then a marriage of his wife to a Chick. Is it possible that George remarried and his second wife was called Chick. If so there is a marriage in Bridport O/D 1915 5a 1072 between George Foote and Clemantina Chick.

Hi Dave. Hooray you found them. they were married the opposite way round to what i gave you all.
I found a Ernest Robert Chick on bmd born in 1097 at Hawarden, Flint shire wonder if that is him.
So now where did Clemantina come from,the mystery deepens.

aged three.
Was there any references that i can check please.
Cannot find Clemantina anywhere.

So is your Ernest Robert born 1907 Howarden their child, and not of George Foot

Hi On 1911 (limited access) there is a Clematine Chick with other people not young enough to be her children. Robert is not there either

Hi Dave.
You have got it right.
Found her on the 1911 census but no child with her. On the Census she has stated she never had any. Was the Ernest Robert Chick born in 1907 in Hawarden,Flintshire a son she lost?. As the one born in Weymouth looks to be correct as the parents were right.
